To save an item to the database, it must be present within the layout of a project.
Once the item is inserted into the project, right click on it to launch the context menu. From this menu, choose “Add to database” (as seen in the image below).
The window shown below will appear and you must fill out the item information. Each field accepts alphanumeric characters and not all fields are mandatory:
Item Code (mandatory): Code displayed in estimates;
Color (mandatory): Used when dealing with furnishing objects that have the same item code but different colors. If it is not necessary to distinguish between different colors, you can enter “0”;
Internal Code (not mandatory): Used when a company has an internal code for an item that differs from the code visible in the catalogue;
Supplier (mandatory): Indicate the supplier of the item. Click on the button with the three dots to select among the suppliers available;
Description (mandatory): Description of the item displayed on estimates;
Destination: Room where the item will be placed (use drop-down menu to choose one of the options);
Series (not mandatory): Pick the collection of the supplier where the item belongs. Use this if you want to catalog the item in complete detail;
Typology: Indicate the typology of the item by choosing between the pairings present. You can enter a new typology if you want to distinguish your items from those already existing;
Default Elevation: It is possible to set the default elevation that the item will have each time it is inserted into a project.
You can also insert a preview image of the object. This image must be a jpg with dimensions 320*320 pixels.
