To tile a tub surround, follow these steps:
-
Set the viewpoint: Open the Navigation window and adjust the viewpoint to clearly view the surface you want to tile.
-
Select the desired tile: Go to the Coverings section in the Components window and choose the tile you want to apply to the surface.
-
Apply the tile to the entire surface: Click the Fill destination area with the selected pattern or material button to evenly cover the selected surface with the chosen tile.
4. Check the destination: Make sure the Destination field is set to Surface.
5. Verify the tiling settings: Before applying the tile, check the grout size and the tiling rotation.
6. Apply the tile to the surface: Drag the tile onto the desired surface while holding down the left mouse button. As you move the tile in the scene, the surface will be highlighted in light yellow. Release the mouse button once the tile is positioned correctly; the surface will then be covered with the selected tile.
7. Use dynamic tiling patterns: You can follow the same procedure to apply dynamic tiling patterns if you want to use panels with multiple formats. Always remember to specify Surface in the Destination field.
