You can create the patterns you need thank to a powerful tool, called Pattern Composer.
Click the following button 
(available in the Database-Panels or Navigation section of the Ribbon. With this tool you can really create the pattern you need, even using non standard tiles formats (also known as complex formats)

- Video 1: how to lay down tiles in the pattern, and check the way they repeat
- Video 2: how to rotate tiles and create stunning shapes, also customizing the way the basic tiles of the pattern will be repeated
