When you want to apply a multi-shaded (or off-shaded) tile to your floor or wall, DomuS3D will automatically mix the various faces of the tile randomly, replicating a realistic installation.
You can identify multi-shaded products by the small icon shown here in the lower left corner of the product preview:
If you want to manually change the multi-shaded effect on your floor or wall, changing a specific tiling face with a different one from among those available for a given product, right click on your surface and select the “customize off-shaded items” command.
Each time you apply the multi-shaded effect to your surface, the below window will appear. This asks you to specify the type of modification you would like to apply. We recommend using the final option available, “Total room tiles”, if you want to apply the multi-shaded effect to your entire project.
If you are using a product without the multi-shaded icon, you can manually apply the effect by right clicking on the product in either the 3D navigation or Wall2D view and selecting “Create Off-Shaded Effect” (See below image). In this case, the program will recreate a multi-shaded effect by randomly rotating the product, replicating a more realistic installation.
