When placing two rooms next to one another, the two walls that will become a common barrier between the rooms will be fused into one single wall with width equal to the sum of the two previously existing walls.
If you want the width of the new shared wall to be the same as the width of the previously existing walls, you must follow these steps:
- Select the common wall and halve its width using the Thickness command present in the context menu (right click on the wall).
- This operation, however, will increase the length of the internal wall, so it is necessary to modify this length in order to reset it to its initial value. You can achieve this, for example, by moving the wall opposite to the fused wall the same distance as the previously reduced width.
