This command allows you to create an internal or external column or hook it to a wall.
Select the command “Create pillar” in the Layout Ribbon.
In this version of DomuS3D, you can create a pillar either in the center of the room or near a wall. In the latter case, it is possible to specify the exact starting point of the column by moving your cursor to the internal face of the wall; this can be done by either using the left mouse click or typing the distance of the column from the right/left edge of the wall (to move between the input fields you can use the TAB key) and pressing enter.
Specify the dimensions of the pillar: again you can use either the quick left mouse click or type the precise dimensions of the column.
The software performs a check during this operation. The pillar cannot overlap already existing walls.
The procedure is the same as described above even if you want draw a pillar in the center of the room.
