Automatic Area and Perimeter
It can sometimes be useful to have information about the area and perimeter of the room shown in the plan.
You can insert automatic text that will appear in the plan, in the desired position, and will be updated whenever a modification is made to the room structure.
To use this function, click the Room area command in the Tools section of the Plan view window ribbon, or in the room’s context menu (right-click inside the room). Position the text and adjust its colour, size and font according to your requirements. You will notice that it is updated whenever the architecture is modified. Important: for the text to be updated automatically, the room name must not be changed, and the text must contain the words Area and Perimeter.
WARNING: If it is necessary to change the room name, delete the old automatic text and repeat the command after changing the room name.
