Quick replacement of furniture in navigation
The “Replace” command allows you to quickly replace a piece of furniture in Virtual Navigation view.
With the Quick Replace you can change the object you are viewing with another one, choosing it from the window that opens when the command starts.
From the Virtual Navigation, right-click on the object you want to change and select “Replace.”
The window that opens shows a series of choices, so you can define the type of items to replace the current one.
You may choose a replacement item belonging to the same category as the original one from those available in your database, indicating: Manufacturer, Collection and possibly the Subtype.
Specifically, I recommend that you opt for a replacement with an item belonging to the same Subtypology: in the case taken as an example, there is a floor-standing toilet bowl in Virtual Navigation, and it is desirable to choose a replacement item placed in the “floor mounted” Subtypology.
After having identified the replacement item, left-click on it and then confirm, clicking “Replace.”
You can choose to change the item with others belonging to different Subtypes, but in this case be careful to enter a correct Elevation value.
If you choose to replace, for example, a floor mounted toilet bowl with a wall-hung toilet bowl, the latter will, unless otherwise indicated, assume an incorrect elevation.
If, on the other hand, you specify, as in the example below, that the elevation is to be customized, the toilet bowl will position itself correctly. Also, when replacing it, you may opt for an item from a different Manufacturer than the original one:

You are always in the view in Virtual Navigation, where there is an item, such as a wall-hung bidet:
Moving to the Components window, you can search for other items belonging to the same type.
After finding the item you wish to replace the previous one, left-click on the new item and, holding it down, drag&drop on the item you wish to replace.
Release the mouse button on hanging bidet you wished to replace (again from Virtual Navigation); and you will be in this situation:
Now make a final left-click on it to confirm the replacement.
