If you want to save a 3D point of view so that you can return to it when you re-open your project, click the "Save View" button in the Navigation group of the Ribbon.
Alternatively, you can use the keyboard shortcut F4.
By clicking on the "Views management" button, you will access the Views Management window, where you can save your current view or load previously saved points of view.
The F3 shortcut will open the Views Management window from both the Layout and Navigation screens, but only from the Navigation screen will you be able to save a point of view.
Why is it important to save a point of view?
Saved views are important if you want to:
- create a video or a walk around of the room
- create multiple renderings from the same perspective (for example, using different tiles/colors/objects) in order to provide your customers with variations of a room as seen from the same point of view.
In order to delete a saved view, select it and click on the trash icon.
When you have multiple saved views, the default position when opening the navigation window will be the first view point on your saved list.
You can jump from saved view to saved view with the keyboard shrtcut: Ctrl+Left/Right Arrow.
