How many times have we found ourselves in a situation where it wasn't possible to hide exterior walls, such as, for example, in a multi-room layout?
Clipping planes allow us to position our point of view for rendering in all those situations in which our viewpoint is impeded by obstacles, such as, for example, objects, exterior walls, or dividing interior walls in multi-room projects.
This feature allows us to clip or separate the parts of the scene that are positioned between our viewpoint and our clipping plane: everything between these two points will be hidden from our rendering while everything that intersects the clipping plane or is found beyond the clipping plane will remain visible.
This command can be applied only on viewpoints that have been previously saved; it can be activated and adjusted from the layout window (right click on the camera/viewpoint previously saved):
and from the properties window of the Navigation window (after having activated the viewpoint previously saved)
and even from the "view properties" command in the main Ribbon from the Navigation window.
