Interactive Rendering is an evolution of the V-Ray workflow, designed to make the design process more immediate. In DomuS3D, a floating window opens and is connected in real time to the 3D Navigation, continuously displaying the rendered image of the scene (unless manually paused).
In practice, while the designer modifies materials, lighting, camera views, or project details, the Interactive Rendering window progressively updates the result, allowing immediate verification of the impact of design choices.
Advantages
Works with both GPU and CPU: maximum flexibility depending on the available hardware.
Improved performance during design: thanks to Interactive Rendering, it is possible to reduce the quality of 3D Navigation, achieving a significant increase in workflow smoothness.
Immediate lighting evaluation: a fast tool to understand how natural and artificial light affect the scene.

Main Functions
- Exposure control in interactive rendering
Each time the function is started, the rendering engine automatically sets the exposure (EV) to the default value “Daylight Interiors – 10.00”.
Unlike tradicional rendering, which automatically attempts to reach optimal exposure, in Interactive Rendering any EV adjustment is handled by the user. Exposure can be manually adjusted using the dedicated slider or by selecting one of the “home” icon buttons, which recall quick presets:
Night Exteriors, Night Interiors, Day Exteriors, Day Interiors
Refresh
Updates the Interactive Rendering generation. It is particularly useful after major changes or when you want to prioritize work operations by temporarily reducing the computational load.
- Start high-quality rendering
Starts the full scene rendering (the “classic” rendering) using the current configuration.
By selecting one of the preset resolutions, rendering starts immediately; by choosing “Custom”, the advanced rendering configuration interface opens.
- Preview size
Using the box at the bottom left, you can customize the preview window size.
