The command that allows you to create a pillar has been upgraded; as you may already know, you can create a pillar linked to a wall by clicking the right mouse button over that wall, and selecting the command Create pillar. If pillar is external, the walls will follow the pillar shape (see image on the left). If pillar is internal, the shape will be filled with the same pattern already applied to the walls nearby (see image on the right).
If you want to create a pillar in a corner/edge of the room, right-click on the edge of the wall and select the command Create Pillar.
Move the mouse to the inside of the room by typing the exact measurements and the program creates the pillar by extending the size already assigned to the walls.
