Follow these steps if you already have the layout plan and are in advanced layout editing:
When you want to make some changes to the layout plan (move walls or remove a room), you can work either within the Standard Layout environment or open the Advanced Layout Editing (for how to access this environment, see this article (How to Enter Advanced Layout Editing).
By opening this environment, DomuS3D converts all the rooms present into lines/polylines, allowing you to act on the polyline or on individual segments to make all the modifications you want. You can also create new rooms simply by clicking on the Polyline or Line command to create enclosed spaces. Once you finish your work and exit this environment to return to the Standard Layout , the programme recreates the Layout from scratch and fully reconstructs the walls while still keeping the finishes and fixtures inserted. If the programme cannot create the walls, an error message is displayed and the entities that caused problems with the room definition are highlighted in red.
Warning: unlike version R1 where sloping ceilings were NOT managed, with version R2 the Advanced Layout Editing recalculates the slope following changes made to the profile and, if it can apply it correctly, notifies you with a specific message asking for further verification
Otherwise, it restores the flat ceiling but still retains all the information related to the tiling.
In the case of multi-room spaces with different heights, when switching between environments, this information, in addition to the tiling on the walls, is preserved.
