If you have imported a dwg/dxf floor plan (for more information follow the instructions in this article) and want to trace the different rooms, follow these steps:
- enter the Advanced Floor Plan Editing through the toolbar present in the floor plan or via the contextual menu command activated with the right mouse button (for information consult the article (How to Enter Advanced Floor Plan Editing Mode)
- Within the environment, no command is active immediately, so you need to select a CAD command (line or polyline for example) to trace the various rooms. It is not necessary to draw the outer perimeter first and then the different rooms. You are free to decide the order in which to trace the floor plan.
- Each time you define a closed room, the programme automatically inserts a number in the centre (this numbering excludes the outer profile because it contains them all).
- After having traced the floor plan entirely or partially, confirm the operations by exiting this environment to return to Standard Floor Plan (for information consult the article (How to Exit Advanced Floor Plan Editing Modea)
