If, in the layout window, you right click an empty point inside a room, it is possible to select the command Copy from the context menu, which allows you to copy the room and all of its contents (furnishings, 3D objects, groups, lights, quotes, text...) to the clipboard.
At this point, you can:
- Select the Paste room command inside the same project; this technique is often used to create two copies of the same room in order to quickly prepare and view two different tiling alternatives.
- Close the current project, open a new project, and paste the room into this new projects; this allows you to make a copy of your room which you can then modify in a completely separate project (for example, if you want to explore two alternative tiling solutions while keeping the two projects distinct). This method is recommended over the previous one as it prevents you from creating projects that become very large, which may have slower processing and loading times due to the large amount of data contained within them.
- Open a previously saved project and past the room into this project, considering it as an added room to those already present: in fact, it is possible to create a multi-room project while creating each room individually in distinct projects. After the elaboration of each individual room, you can use this method to unify them into one multi-room environment.
